Registration Fever

So the past 2 months it seems like, I have been sick! Really the past year...If you know me at all, then you know that this is very inconvenient because I enjoy being able to lots of active things and being sick just does not allow much energy for activities other than TV watching... reading... and surfing the Internet. Well...this forced recovery time has led me to become slightly obsessed with the wedding registering process.

Let me back track a little now.... because I forgot some exciting news!

Coleman and I signed our new lease to our beautiful new apartment in Austin Ranch! The wonderful man I am going to marry packed my entire apartment while I was in the hospital. He did an AMAZING Job and still managed to work and visit me at the hospital. WHAT A GUY!!! I'm so beyond words as to how grateful I am and how blessed I feel to have him in my life!

Anyhow, the movers moved me out of the old place and into the new place all in one day and with much ease due to the wonderful packing job of my fiance. As soon as I am back on my feet I'll be staying at the apartment and once we get married, Coleman will be moving his stuff in as well! We can't wait to start our new life together!

Oh did I mention we have a fireplace? A beautiful view? A simple little apartment for 2! It just feels like home. I can't wait to have everyone over to celebrate! I registered for an outdoor patio grill...

This brings me back to my new registry obsession. I LOVE to look at our registries...and I am highly overly excited about all the possible new kitchen gadgets we might acquire! If you didn't already know, I love to cook! And will cook for anyone anytime when I am well enough! Anyway, Even if we don't get what we registered for....there is still something very exhilarating about clicking and adding an item to your registry...It made me overjoyed that Coleman was invested in it too...Oh! it is even more fun in the store when they give you the scanner and you just scan until your heart is content. Donut pans! Kitchen Aids! Place mats! New Bedding! A baking decorating set! If you want it you, can scan it! Not sure why this is so thrilling...but with the little amount I am suppose to be doing at the moment...it really does help pass time...
I do make sure to keep Coleman updated on the new things I have clicked....and I occasionally delete things that I realize we will have no use for or space for...(this activity is not as fun).

Enough about registering...but just in case you were wondering....we did register at Macy's, Bed Bath & Beyond, Crate and Barrell...and Target...I'm cutting myself off...no more other places will be added I promise...

Another bit of fun news! My Wedding Dress HAS ARRIVED! The downside to this is that the medicine they have me on at the moment  and all the IV fluids they gave at the hospital made me inflate quite a bit....I feel like a balloon...soooo I'm not able to go try it on just yet. They scheduled my fitting for May 23rd however...SO I should be back to normal again by then! I feel like everything is starting to really come together! I'm so very excited! I just need continued prayers and positive thoughts for healing! I won't let this sickness get me down!

One last note on the sickness...this is not wedding related, but I feel like I do need to say it. I was so touched by all the visitors that came to see me at the hospital. I was there Monday-Friday and everyday several people came to see me. My room was filled with flowers, cards, balloons, and magazines. I saw friends who I had not seen in awhile and family getting along better then they ever had before. I even received an email from my brother who is traveling Europe at the moment. I was the sickest I had ever felt physically and usually this tends to get my down emotionally, but boy what a difference people make in your life. I know without a doubt that every person who saw me or sent their regards contributed to my recovery. So thank you thank you a million times from the bottom of my heart to all my dear loving friends and family.

That is all for now! Thanks for listening to my random thoughts and I hope you have a wonderful day!
